Colorado’s natural beauty and awesome landscapes serve to inspire one’s thirst for outdoor adventure. Our plains, mountains and backcountry trails offer an infinite variety of trekking experiences. Whether your preference is hiking, jogging, biking, equestrian, camping or motorized travel, Colorado features trails that will satisfy and challenge anyone’s desired outdoor experience. Awaken your western spirit of adventure and navigate your way to one of Colorado’s 25 Scenic and Historic Byways and find your adventure.

The Colorado Trail System (CTS) endeavors to map every trail in the state of Colorado. CTS intends to serve as the connection between people, trails, and technology by coordinating the efforts of federal, state, county, and local agencies to create a comprehensive and authoritative repository of recreational trails for public use.
